EWB Kick Off Meeting - Tuesday, Oct 6th, 5 pm at ESB 1001

Welcome back everyone,

Engineerings Without Borders is hosting their annual Kick-off meeting today (Tuesday) at 5 pm in ESB (Engineering Science Building) 1001. That's the small conference room below the staircase. Come enjoy snacks and learn about our great and exciting team projects from the people that have worked on them personally. Sign-up sheets will be available for those who are interested in getting involved.

EWB Spring Gala

We'd like to thank everyone who partook in this years EWB Spring Gala. We'd especially like to thank the farmers at the Santa Barbara Farmers Market for their generous donations and the EWB volunteers who volunteered their time to help make this event happen.

EWB Spring Gala

Engineers Without Borders UCSB will be hositng their 3rd annual Spring Gala to celebrate our accomplishments and learn about the recent advancements in our current projects. The event will be held this Friday, May 29th from 5 to 7 pm at the Cliff House at Coal Oil Point. We encourage everyone, from UCSB Faculty, Staff, EWB members, and professionals, to come enjoy the great food and company!

Feel free to bring friends and family or anyone you know that might be interested in learning about what EWB has to offer.

EWB Charity Golf Tournament was a success

This years Charity Golf Tournament, which was held May 1st, was a great success! EWB 1st Annual Charity Golf Tournament

EWB is hosting their First Annual Charity Golf Tournament where teams of four will compete in a best ball challenge. Join in an afternoon of golf and BBQ to support our community-based organization in improving the environment of disadvantaged communities worldwide.

Date of Event – May 1 2009

Location, address, time of event – Hidden Oaks Golf Course, 4760 Calle Camarada, Santa Barbara, CA 93110, 2pm

Ticket/Donation cost - $50 per person, Teams of four encouraged

EWB General Meeting - January 21, 2009 at 5pm

We will be hosting our first meeting of the winter quarter. Both newcomers and current members are encouraged to attend. We’ll be receiving project updates, hearing a presentation about the recent trip to Baja, and possibly watch a few great films from past EWB trips!

The meeting will be held January 21st at 5pm. The location is TBA
